How Can You Help? Print
Meet Minh

As a foundation we have adopted the residents of the Home for Abandoned and Disabled Children. Although one resident is 91 years old the majority of occupants are children with severe disabilities. The sixteen residents receive wonderful personal care from the Catholic sisters. Unfortunately beyond their loving spirit, they do not have the material resources to adequately support the individuals. It is our goal to meet the nutritional, health care, and rehabilitation needs for all residents.

How can you help?  Click Minh’s picture at left to find out how…

Meet MinhYou can help by reading this flyer-with-picture of Minh (PDF) and distributing it to your friends.

This document can be duplicated or sent by e-mail to all of your contacts. In this way all of you can be active participants in supporting the care and survival of these beautiful “forgotten people.”

Coming soon - a video for you to see the conditions of each of the residents. They are in extreme need for support regarding basic nutrition, health care, and physical therapy. It is our hope to raise awareness by the distribution of this video and other educational programs created by the students at Western Oregon University to facilitate donations so that these needs can me met. Preparations have already began for another Alternative Spring Break trip in 2008 to bring a team of volunteers to offer health education and physical therapy training for the sisters who are responsible for the daily care of the patients. Check back soon for information on how to view online or purchase copies of the video.

Thank you to all of those who have made contributions so far. Your help is desperately needed now.  Please visit our donation section of the web site today.
